Where we visit

Morning

The day&nbsp;starts with shuttle pick-ups from selected locations around Waikiki. Then you&#39;ll head straight up to the North Shore and stop at Greenworld Coffee Farms, which offers guests a wide array of coffee and tea samples daily. It&#39;s a&nbsp;great way to refresh and grab a cup of coffee&nbsp;(own expense) made from the beans of one of the 3000+ Arabica trees on the seven acres of Greenworld Coffee Farm before heading to the Dole pineapple fields.

&nbsp;

For the first time, visitors can venture into the Dole​ Plantation&#39;s Royal Hawaiian Gold Pineapple farm with one of the local guides to ​witness skilled field workers planting and harvesting the​ sweet, iconic Dole Pineapples. This truly immersive experience will have you both on and off the bus, walking with the&nbsp;guide through the fields and pineapple pack house to see the whole process Dole has perfected.

This one-of-a-kind Oahu experience will even include a sampling of Dole&#39;s unique variety of pineapple straight from the fields. Before leaving, you will receive a ​Dole Royal Hawaiian Gold Pineapple to take home.

Afternoon

After the pineapple farm, it&#39;s time to stop for lunch at a local food truck, for which the North Shore is well known.

&nbsp;

A trip to the North Shore is not complete without a visit to&nbsp;the beach. Your guide will take you to a beach where you can sink your toes in the sand and witness the beauty of a world-renowned North Shore Hawaiian beach and take photos to send back to family and friends back home. In addition, there are usually Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles on the beach, so keep your eyes peeled.

Next to historic Haleiwa Town lies a hidden culinary gem &ndash;&nbsp;a local Macadamia shop that finds itself tucked away under the comforting shade of an aged Banyan tree. The macadamia nuts here are sourced from the foothills of Oahu&#39;s tallest peak, Mt. Kaala, from an orchid comprising over 1200 macadamia nut trees on 24 acres. These are the freshest macadamia nuts on the whole island of Oahu, creating a wonderful edible experience as you continue your day trip into the history of Hawaiian agriculture. Other culinary delights here include authentic North Shore Acai Bowls or tasty Kona coffee samples.

The last stop on the North Shore is a step back in time to one of Oahu&#39;s oldest towns &ndash; Old Haleiwa Town. Originally built as a home for immigrant sugar plantation workers, Haleiwa is now a quaint surf town filled with various boutiques, surf stores, and shaved ice shops. As time has passed, the state has set up architectural guidelines requiring the design of existing and newly erected buildings to reflect the plantation-style architecture of the early years of Haleiwa&#39;s sugar industry. Doing so makes it a refreshing stop away from the bustling streets and tall buildings of Waikiki.

Before returning to Waikiki, your guide will stop to see the King Kamehameha Statue. It&#39;s a&nbsp;perfect way to tie in some additional Hawaiian history on top of the agricultural lineage you&#39;ve&nbsp;just experienced through the day on the North Shore Dole Pineapple Tour.

TOUR MINIMUMS

A combined minimum of 2 guests is required for a tour to operate. Should a tour not meet the tour minimum, customers will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. While advanced notice will be provided when possible, tour cancellations may be up until 1-hour before the activity start time.

INCLEMENT WEATHER OR COMPANY CLOSURES

Trips will run rain or shine. All trips are subject to change or be canceled without notice due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstance. The company will make the final decision and may cancel at any time should the weather conditions be deemed unsafe or unfit to complete the activity. Customers will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund in the case of any operator cancellation. While advanced notice will be provided when possible, tour cancellations may occur up until the activity start time.shows.

GO OAHU CARD HOLDERS

In the event the GoCard number(s) provided cannot be validated on the day of the tour - the credit card on file will automatically be charged the full price of the tour. TURTLE SIGHTINGS
