Yes, the itinerary can change due to weather, road closures, or anything else that is out of The Operator's control. But there are procedures and plans in place for when this does happen. Don’t worry, we got you sorted.

Flights to your starting destination in Christchurch are not included, or onwards from your departure location in Nelson, and these will need to be booked yourself. 

However, an internal flight between Christchurch and Nelson on Day 10 is included in your tour package. Please note, you have an allowance of 7kg carry-on luggage and 22kg check-in luggage. Any additional weight will need to be paid by you. 

The tour can cater to most dietary requirements, so please let The Operator when you book! We are also confident the menus at our lunch/dinner stops are all diverse enough to satisfy whatever you may crave.

The Operator will still run a tour for sure, we can’t control the weather unfortunately but we can plan around it. We have backup plans always in case of bad weather. For example, if it’s raining on the day we want to go sandboarding then we will replace the activity with surf lessons the next day. If Cardrona mountain is closed to weather or whatever reason, we will replace that day with another adventure activity.
