The vessel is pram-friendly. However, walks on the island can be rocky and include steps so are not advised when walking.&nbsp;

Cruises depart daily from Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal (only a short walk from most Cairns accommodation) at 9am and return at 4.45pm. Check-in opens at 8.15am

After approximately 45 minutes of travel, you&#39;ll arrive at Fitzroy Island where you&#39;ll have up to 6 hours to explore its&nbsp;beautiful offerings.

While here, you&#39;ll have the option to take&nbsp;part in a range of activities, including snorkelling, glass-bottom boat tours, kayaking, island adventures and more for an additional cost.

A boat will take the group out for an approx 35-minute snorkel tour and all equipment is supplied. A perfect introduction for first-time snorkellers.

There is a lot to do and see on Fitzroy. Snorkelling, glass bottom boat tours, beaches and hikes! 
The staff were friendly and helpful and I did the glass bottom boat tour which was very informative. Then stopped at the bar for lunch and a drink. And finished the trip by exploring the walking trails it’s a bit of a mission to the top but well worth it such a beautiful place!
