Do you like going against the flow? This tour is for those who want to zig while everyone else is zagging. By doing the road to Hana in reverse, you can explore the most popular sites and locations before the crowds arrive. The tour begins along the less explored Southern Coast of the Hana Highway, continues past Hana Town, and concludes along the more famous Northern Route.
The town of Hana is on the east coast of Maui and is considered one of the last non-tourist towns on the island. Although Hana is a beautiful and unique town, the road to Hana is where you’ll experience one of Hawaii’s most famous drives. The drive is full of narrow roads and tight turns that give the drivers and passengers scenic views throughout the duration of the trip. Each jeep adventure has unique stops that will lead to some hidden gems.
The road to Hana is more than a scenic drive with views of beautiful coastline and jungle landscapes. It’s an adventure that takes you back in time through Maui’s tropical rainforest. A beloved and treasured gem, Hana is said to be one of the last unspoiled Hawaiian cities. This private tour in Maui takes you along the famous coastline road by jeep. The tour gives you the option to see a variety of stops, such as Ho’okipa, Ke'anae Penninsula, Pua’a Ka’a Falls, and, of course, Hana Town.
Black Sand Beach new reservation requirements: Wai’anapanapa State Park (aka black sand beach) recently instituted a new reservation system. The park admission fee ($25) is included in your selected tour. If you would like to visit the black sand beach, please list the first and last names for each member of your party.
Lunch isn't included, but your driver will recommend the best places to eat and take you where you'd like to go. Some of the favourite lunch stops are Brudda Hutts, Huli Huli BBQ at Koki Beach, Hana Farms, The Ranch Restaurant and Kilo's Food Truck.
All Hana Road adventures begin at 7am. This early start time allows us to get ahead of the crowds so you can enjoy the popular locations with as few people as possible. If 7am is too early for you, the tour can pick you up at a time that works best for you (no later than 9am).
