Still curious about the tuk tuk itself? Why would you want to travel in one of these? Well, it happens to be a very common form of urban transport, both as a vehicle for hire and for private use, in many countries around the world, especially those with tropical or subtropical climates, including many developing countries. It is particularly popular where traffic congestion is a major problem, such as Bangkok! Drivers also use their tuk tuks to transport fresh produce or other goods around the city in absence of passengers.
Bangkok and other cities in Thailand have many, many tuk tuks; Bangkok alone is reported to have over 9,000 tuk tuks! With so many tuk tuks in one city, you can’t spend time here without riding in one! Enjoy this authentic experience with Jekky, your tour guide. She is a small Thai woman, but strong-minded, with a young soul, and a free spirit full of energy. She is a Thai chef who loves to cook Thai food for her family, friends and guests; so you can be sure she’ll lead you to the best food spots in town! She loves to share her knowledge about Thai culture and cuisine with the world. Hard-working and kind-hearted, Jekky is a fabulous entertainer and an extraordinary person to have by your side while exploring Thailand. Don’t pass up the opportunity to spend some time with her in this tuk tuk adventure!
