Begin your scenic drive from Auckland through the Waikato countryside. Have your cameras ready to snap the beautiful scenery, mighty rivers and impressive mountains. 

The Coromandel Peninsula is the perfect place for some stunning holiday snaps of white-sand beaches, extensive native forests and unbeatable views of the Pacific Ocean coastline. During the drive, you'll stop many times for a short walk to some great viewpoints and photo spots.

The first feature attraction of your trip is Cathedral Cove, one of New Zealand's most famous beaches.You may recognise this area from The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian movie. As there are no roads to this beach, you'll be taking a native bush walk to get there. Once you've arrived, its time to relax, sunbathe, swim, play sport or just enjoy the spectacular views. 

Next, it's on to the famous Hot Water Beach. Here, you can dig a hole in the sand to create your very own naturally-heated geothermal water bath.
