Frequently Asked Questions about Big Island Waterfalls Adventure
Will we get to swim in the waterfalls?
Yes, if weather permits you can swim at a private waterfall on this tour.
How long do we spend in the Waipio Valley?
You will spend around 2 hours inside the valley. This includes a fun ride in a four-wheel drive van.
What to bring and wear?
Bring a swimsuit and wear comfortable summer clothing. Covered walking shoes are recommended.
Is this tour child/senior/disabled friendly?
Yes, it is. However, we don’t recommend this tour for very young children aged under 5, or those with serious mobility ailments. The tour vehicles are not equipped with a wheelchair lift, but do have plenty of storage space for a collapsible wheelchair and have low steps making them easy to board.
Will the tour be cancelled if it rains?
This tour will operate in wet weather. Rain is common in certain areas of the island which is why rain gear is supplied by The Operator for your convenience. The Operator only cancel swhen the weather makes transportation hazardous and/or there are road closures.
