This tour departs Brisbane city at approximately 7 am. From there, you will head via minivan about 100km south to Springbrook National Park, an area known for its spectacular waterfalls and rainforests. Your first stop at Springbrook will be the Natural Arch, a spectacular rock formation formed by a waterfall that flows through the top of a cave.

From there, you will continue on to Tambourine National Park, where you will journey through the rainforest visit a purpose-built cave, complete with very realistic stalactites and stalagmites. Watch a brief documentary on the glowworms that inhabit the area before heading deep into the cave to see them for yourself. Be prepared to spot thousands ofluminescent glowworms that will light your way as you wander through the dark.

Once you've emerged, enjoy an enchanting walk through a eucalyptus forest. You will also see toweringgumtrees, staghorn and birds nest ferns, strangler figs and many other plant varieties. Then, it's time to visit Curtis Falls by way of the 1.5km return, 101 steps Curtis Falls track. Depending on the season, you will experience anywhere from a gentle current to a raging torrent of water that tumbles over huge basalt columns to the pool below. These columns are the legacy of the region's rich volcanic history. As you walk, look for turtles, fish and eels that live in the rock pools. If you're lucky, you may even see a platypus!
