This unmissable sea kayaking adventure is an awesome way to check out the hidden beauty of the rugged Shoalwater islands while enjoying incredible panoramas of sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and glimpses of limestone reefs beneath the kayak. Swim and snorkel with a myriad of tropical fish and take it all in as we enjoy this incredible once-in-a-lifetime discovery tour of this breathtaking marine park.
Explore the amazing Penguin & Seal Island in the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, located off the coast of Perth, on this incredible sea kayaking adventure tour. Home to Australian Sea Lions, Little Blue Penguins and colonies of pelicans, this amazing island chain is the perfect place to get off the beaten track and experience a unique and incredible side of Western Australia.
We kick off our tour bright and early, with pick up from Perth city centre at approximately 7:45am. Settle in and enjoy the stunning drive down the coast to Shoalwater Bay where we meet our amazing local guides. Join in as we go through a quick safety run down and kit you out with the finest sun shirts, hats, life jackets and snorkelling gear before we take to the water in our stable 2-man sea kayaks. After a quick kayaking lesson or chance to brush up on our skills, we head out to the ocean to enjoy an amazing day on the Shoalwater Islands!
Paddle past stunning limestone caves and over colourful reefs as we make our way over to the islands, where we are sometimes joined by a friendly school of dolphins! Enjoy our gentle pace as we slowly glide through the turquoise waters, taking our time and soaking up the amazing panoramic views and stunning marine life of this breathtaking island chain. Stop for morning tea on a secluded beach and take some time to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery as our amazing guides share their encyclopaedic local knowledge and recount legends and old stories about this amazing region.
After a breather, we return to our kayaks and paddle on to the unforgettable Penguin Island, where we visit the amazing Penguin Visitor Centre for an opportunity to get up close and personal with fairy penguins, pelicans and sea lions on the stunning white sandy beaches of this beautiful island. Join the Little Blue Penguins for feeding time before we tuck into a delicious picnic lunch. Round off our afternoon with a snorkelling adventure through the shallow limestone coral reefs off the coast of this beautiful island. Dive into the crystal clear ocean and swim through a throng of colourful tropical fish, or take some time to relax and enjoy our breathtaking surroundings, hunt for stunning shells in the surf and check out the amazing local wildlife, including starfish, crabs, sea-birds and lizards!
We end our amazing sea kayaking day tour with a relaxing paddle back across the stunning turquoise ocean where, if we’re really lucky, we may find ourselves with a special sea-lion escort all the way back to the shore! Enjoy sweeping panoramas of Australia’s beautiful west coast as we head home with a camera full of amazing photos and a head full of unforgettable memories. Our amazing day tour comes to an end all too soon with a beautiful drive back up the coast to Perth and complimentary drop off in the city centre.

Dress for the weather and assume you will get a bit wet from the paddles. Bring something to drink, and there will be time for a snack also if you want to bring something to eat.
